The Carbon Offroad Scout Pro RS Series winches are designed for racing and high-speed winching applications. With larger modulus gearsets and increased motor horsepower, the RS Series is configured for rapid line speed and controlled recovery operations. This winch is supplied with a Carbon Offroad Mega Hook and a wiring accessory kit. Fairleads, rope thimbles, and synthetic rope are compatible with this winch but are not included unless specified. The RS Series winches share the same Version 3 winch chassis as the proven Carbon Offroad 12K platform. Due to the longer 8.0HP motor, the installer must consult the technical drawing to determine clearance and fitment length on the winch mount. Responsibility for correct fitment rests with the end user or installer. The RS9 is rated for 9000lb-class recovery applications and is compatible with 8mm synthetic UHMWPE winch rope commonly used in high-speed winching setups.
